Fyens.dk boosts traffic introducing headlines with variable fontsize to clearly communicate what’s most important

Users don’t want design or aesthetics. They want meaning, prioritization, overview and opportunity to follow whatever sidetracks a given story entails. This seems to be the basic assumptions underneath the newly redesign of Danish regional news-site Fyens.dk.

Richard Wraa of Fyens.dk read me the text. And told me the numbers: The redesign immediately lead to significant increase in number of visits, page-views and time spend on Fyens.dk.
