From a start of 4 hand-picked super-Lego-users, to an extended version with 11 participants. And again by march this year to an even wider extended group of all together 110 participants.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve results like this, the Lego advice is:<br \/>\n&#8211; Know the cunsumers to get the right ones<br \/>\n&#8211; Trust them 100 %<br \/>\n&#8211; Manage the collaboration<br \/>\n&#8211; Define ways of communications<br \/>\n&#8211; Set expectations right<\/p>\n<p>Exept from actual improvement of the product, the process has had huge PR-effects: Wired Frontpage, millions of Google-searches &#8211; and all tech-blogs writing about mindstomr NXT.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All this according to\u00a0 S\u00f8ren Lund, project director, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mindstorms.com\/\"><font color=\"#114477\">LEGO Mindstorm NXT robots<\/font><\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0his presentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About S\u00f8ren Lund and Lego Mindstorms<br \/>\n<\/strong>The official conference presentation of\u00a0S\u00f8ren Lund and Lego Mindstorm\u00a0reads: Few companies have realized the significance and potential of a product\u2019s development sequence like LEGO has. The users were involved in earnest when the ground-breaking Mindstorm NXT robots were in the making. LEGO approached dedicated fans and asked for their help in developing the next version of the robot toys. Not alone did the users submit suggested designs, they also developed the hardware that ended up being implemented.
