I these seconds Nordjyske launches their new ditcentrum.dk<\/a> site, the web-part of a new, extremely interesting, print-web-mobile. The iniative also comprises two newspapers, one of which premiers monday morning in the North Jutland pendling-trafic, the other this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Friday I received dummy-pages from Nordjyske of all three media-platforms – with a clause to publish them no earlier than 00:00 monday morning. So now they’re here – have\u00a0your sneak preview below!<\/p>\n

New, fully integrated media platform<\/strong>
\nNordjyske today totally dominates the northern Jutland region with newspapers, TV stations, radio stations and websites. Nevertheless Nordjyske has felt inclined simultaneously to launch a new free evening-newspaper, a new newsportal for user generated content. And at the same time they remake their present free morning\/traffic newspaper.<\/p>\n

The result is a fully integrated media platform, spanning print, web and mobile: Centrum Morgen (the free morning newspaper), Centrum Aften (the free evening newspaper) and ditcentrum.dk (yourcentrum.dk)<\/p>\n

Read, sms, write and be published<\/strong>
\nAccording to Henrik Rewes, who is in charge of the web- and mobile initiative, this is by far the most wholeheartedly and aggressive online-move by Nordjyske ever. Nordjyske hopes that pendlers will read Centrum Morgen in the bus or train going to work, vote by sms while on the run, contribute with their own views on the hot issues on the web when they’re at their office – and then, in the afternoon when they get home, read a brand new evening newspaper, all complete with news updates – including their own stories, results from sms-voting etc.<\/p>\n

The website itself will – apart from “standard” portal features – enable users to vote and comment each others stories, generating list of top writers etc., I presume.<\/p>\n

This sounds extremely cool: it promises to be the most wholeheartedly embracing of user generated content yet to have been seen in Denmark!<\/p>\n

“Secret” operation<\/strong>
\nWhile the Danish Media market has been focused on Islandic Dagsbruns proclaimed entry into the Danish market with the free newspaper “Nyhedsavisen” this autumn, and the JP\/Politikens response with their equivalent “24timer”, which premiers the 17th of August, Nordjyske has in total secrecy developed three new media. It was only two days ago, the news broke. Time pocket<\/strong>
\nNordjyske themselves believes to have made the right mix of media to get to get a share of the audiences time pockets, where these exists. The morning is fully booked, according to NordJyske analysis, but during office hours and in the evening\/afternoon people still have some spare time.<\/p>\n
