{"id":202,"date":"2006-12-10T23:11:41","date_gmt":"2006-12-10T22:11:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newmediatrends.fdim.fujacks.pil.dk\/?p=202"},"modified":"2013-02-25T21:08:12","modified_gmt":"2013-02-25T20:08:12","slug":"danish-influenced-we-media-cms-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jon-lund.com\/main\/danish-influenced-we-media-cms-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"Danish influenced we-media cms launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This friday <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publicsquarehq.com\">publicsquarehq<\/a> launched their first version of PublicSquare software, enabling anyone to make a peerwritten and peerreviewed web-site.<\/p>\n<p>This is what my first attempt looked like, after half an hours work on the system:<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/32752503@N00\/318925224\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"174\" alt=\"jons rum\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/133\/318925224_511906e1c3_m.jpg\" width=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(For a more convincing demo, see the usabilty-community <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxesandarrows.com\">boxes and arrows<\/a>-website)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Publicsquare allows users to write to your site, and allows you as editor, to manage the many different citisen journalists you might aquire, to edit and have a dialogue with them before eventually approving and publishing the article.<\/p>\n<p>The website part of the system allows for rating of articles, commenting them, rating (and banning) comments. It also &#8211; as I understand it &#8211; allows for dynamic prioritizing of articles based on the number of comments and the ratings of each individual article.<\/p>\n<p>PublicSquare is US-based &#8211; but two of the four founding fathers are Danes: <a href=\"http:\/\/pinds.com\/\">Lars Pind<\/a>\u00a0 and <a href=\"http:\/\/newmediatrends.fdim.dk\/wp-admin\/pollas.dk\">Anders Pollas<\/a>. Publicsquare is technology applied in new ways, adressing the needs of the new, web 2.0&#8217;ish, internet.
