Advertising based portals\u00a0are surely alive and kicking. Today witnessed a press release<\/a> from euroinvestor.com<\/a>, a website focusing on finance\/investment complete with financial news, indices, portfolio management, blogs and forums: “we’re going public” it said. First time ever a website is to be introduced on the finest danish stock exchange, the OMX Copenhagen Stock Exchange<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Niche-site with global ambitions
\n<\/strong>What we’re witnessing is a succesfull Danish niche-portal that wants to grow, and wants to get beyond the borders of Denmark. And surely: if you’re able to make a sustainable niche-business in a 5 mio people population, you should be able to take your technology and experiences and extend your venture in the directions where there are simly ten- and hundredfold more users interested in whatever nichecontent you’re producing. You’ll have to wait untill they release their prospect, which have to be endorsed first by the OMX and the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority<\/a>.
