In the first three quaters of 2006 advertisers spend more than one billion Danish kroners advertising on the internet. And that figure doesn’t even include adspend on Google. In most markets search alone is thirty or fourty percent of the total adspend.
All this according to my organisation, FDIM (press release in Danish) – the IAB Denmark – who published figures for third quarter adspend 2006 last week.
Compared to the same period last year, banners and sponsorships rose 10 percent allthough spending actually fell from Q2 2006 to Q3.
You can find the published figures for banners and sponsorships, marketplaces and (as a part of the marketspend figures) recruitment as a spreadsheet here.
