JP/Politiken has just announced having aquired the majority of mediawatch.dk – a small but important niche-site for the Danish media-industry.
With the buy JP/Politiken – publisher of the leading Danish newspapers Jyllandsposten, Politiken and Ekstrabladet – wants to stregthen their relatively newly launched business-portal, epn.dk.
At the same time Ole Nørskov (linkedin-profile) joins the mediawatch staff as editor in chief. For the past two years Ole Nørskov has been editor of the website of the Danish Journalist Association, and this summer he relaunched the journalisten.dk web-site in a quite brave manner, opening up the site for user-generated content, blogs, comments and tag-based navigation.
