Hire from within the community

Get people in charge as editors of your new site who are allready within the community. Who allready have respect. Thats the way to have your community-based niche sites to lift from the ground. These will be able to “spread the word” and “give people something to talk about”.

Advice number two: remember to Design for Selfishness. There should be something in it for each contributor. Giving a voice is not enough. You need extra-fame opportunities or money to make it roll.
