Klaus, Gregers and me

  • Jon Lund

Took a train-ride with Klaus Nyengaard and Gregers Wedell-Wedellsborg, the new media directors of the two major newspaper publishing houses, JP/Politiken and Berlingske Tidende. Suddenly I, the photoblogger, grabbed my camera and starting shooting. On this one you find Klaus Nyengaard (and me myself in the foreground) while the Danish february-night whirls by in the background.

We’re all heading home from the Mediekonferencen 2007 which we all attended in Kolding today. I gave a presentation on the new Gemius traffic- and audience measurement system, which a lot of Danish sites are implementing right now. I’m really very enthusiathic about it! The systems key metric will be “real users” (not just cookies), it will integrate demographic information based on a 25000 + member popup-panel and will measure all sites – not just those attached to the measurement, thanks to a 7000 + software panel! (see my post: New era: traffic- and audience measurement 2.0 for more on this)
