Dear blog,
This week I invited a bunch of great guys to become facebook-friends: Prime minister Anders Fogh-Rasmussen, leader of the opposition Helle Thorning-Schmidt, leader of Det radikale Venstre Margrethe Vestager and Ellen Trane Nørby of the governing liberal party.
And guess what: even here in the closing race of the electoral process (general election was held today), they all accepted!
After only two days of friendship I got this invitation from Anders (we’re on first name now):
He asks me (and his other some 3000 facebook-friends) to join him jogging in inner Copenhagen.
Unfortunately I weren’t able to come. Could have been fun, however.
There’s one thing that troubles me a little with these new facebook friends. I’m afraid they’re overshadowing me a little. Take the Compare Friends application for example. When I installed it, it listed all of my facebook-friends next to each other (in pairs) and asked me to state which of them were most fun, had more power, or who I’d rather kiss etc.
After a day or so, I noticed both Anders, Helle and Ellen also turned up as Compare-users. And since we’re now friends we’re compared to each other! Uh, I’m afraid they’re out of my league:
I also had chance to perform some galantery with my new friends on facebook. Look at this gift I gave Margrethe 🙂
Well, dear blog, this is what I’ve been doing this week at facebook. Right now the election is over, 2,4 percent of the casted votes have been counted, and it looks like my friend Anders will have himself another four years.
