Scott Ferber “freaks out”: AOL Microsoft deal is fiction

-I heard that malicious rumor to, and I’m freaking out. It isn’t true.
That was the reaction of CEO Scott Ferber, when he was asked to yesterdays newsstories about Microsoft possibly buying a stake in AOL. is wholly owned by AOL, making Ferber a top AOL executive. It all happened in Copenhagen, where Ferber gave an (excellent) presentation of key trends in online marketing at the FDIM (IAB Denmark).

Judged by the temper and straightforwardness of Ferbers reaction, I might be tempted to believe him!
