Foreningen af Danske Interaktive Medier (FDIM – or IAB Denmark) today published results for the first half-year 2008. Click here for the press release, and here for results in excel – both in Danish. The study is conducted by FDIM and Deloitte.

The study shows display ads were up 27 % year-on-year to  aprox. € 58 mio. In 2007 display ads constituted 30 percent of the total advertising pie.

The largest interactive advertising category – marketplaces – which i 2007 accounted for 43 % of the total market, dropped slightly (with 6 percent to some € 72 millions) for first half-year 2007 to first half-year 2008. The category consist of advertising revenue from Classifieds, Directories, Auctions and Price comparisons.

Todays first half-year results also tells that display advertising grew with 2 % from Q1 2008 to Q2 2008, whereas marketplaces grew by 3 % in the same period.
