I’m this weeks guest at (one of) the first Danish corporate podcast

Imagine being a major player at a highly competive, fastgrowing but still relatively small – around 60 mio. euro – market. Business to business.

What do you do to market yourself? The low key answer is: nothing. The ambitious answer is: by engaging actively in the market, making your own market research and making the figures public, throwing your own sales seminars and conferences.

This is what the ad sales departement of MSN has been doing for quite some time now.

But they’re not settling with that. The latest initiative is their own corporate podcast, with a target group of around 500 people in the Danish internet ad sales world, primarily media buyers. That is: major advertisers and bureaus.

Producing the podcast is relavtively cheap, I’d guess. Make a deal with a minor studio, spend half a day once a weed, put the audio files to your website.

The podcasts has been up and running for three weeks now, and is – according to MSNs own meassures – quite succesfull. MSN mediacast – as they call it – is a 15 minutes weekly “radio” programme, focusing on the advertising world of danish internet media. The concept is simple: four people talking in a studio. One host, two panellists – and each week they are featuring a new guest.

This week the guest is me. Download and listen here (in Danish – MP3).

Or go to the MSN podcast-page here, read more and set up the podcast-feed.
